Director of Administrative Services
I am a lifelong member of the Basilica of St Josaphat and a graduate of St Josaphat Parish School. I began my accounting career on July 11, 1973 at McQuay-Perfex Inc. as an accounting clerk. Sixteen months later, I accepted a position at FMC Corp – Power Control Division and within three and half years was promoted to General Accounting Manager.
During this time, I was also attending night classes in pursuit of a degree. I received an Associate Degree in accounting from Milwaukee Area Technical College and a Bachelor’s Degree, also in accounting, from Marquette University. On April 15, 1984, I was licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a Certified Public Accountant.
Seven and a half months later, I took a Controller’s position at Empire Level Mfg. Corp. and during my tenure became the first female, non-family member to be named a Vice-President.
In spring 1995, I began volunteering my accounting services to the Basilica of St Josaphat and on May 1, 1998, I left the for profit business world and became the Basilica’s Business Manager. And as the saying goes - the rest is history!
