September 28-29, 2019 - Doors Open Milwaukee is a two-day public celebration of Milwaukee’s art, architecture, culture, and history. This event offers behind the scenes tours of more than 160 buildings throughout Milwaukee’s downtown and neighborhoods and tours led by community leaders. The Basilica of St. Josaphat will participate in Doors Open on Sunday, September 29 from 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM.
We are excited to be holding our 18th annual gala at the historic Pritzlaff Building in downtown Milwaukee. Plans are underway for a festive evening of live and silent auctions, raffles, good food and lively conversation – all in a beautifully renovated historic building. Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 13. We hope to see you there!
Święconka is an enduring and beloved Polish tradition. This blessing of food baskets will take place on Holy Saturday, March 31 at 1:00PM, 2:00PM, and 3:00PM in the Undercroft of the Basilica. All are welcome to attend.
This year's Soup & Session Series will be "A Lenten Journey with St. Francis of Assisi." There will be a simple Soup Supper at 6:00PM followed by a Session at 7:00PM. The entire evening will be held in the Undercroft of the Basilica. There is no charge for the dinner or the session.
Join us on Wednesdays at 5:30pm for Vespers and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. It's a wonderful, prayerful way to end the day -- in the presence of the Lord! (Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with Public Adoration follows the noon Mass and continues throughout the afternoon.)
